Since 1978, the Colorado Coaches of Girls’ Sports (CCGS) has honored outstanding female basketball players at the CCGS All-State Basketball Games. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Arvada West High School.
Sunday March 14th is the Selection meeting at Shaw Heights Middle School. You must be a member of CCGS to nominate an athlete.
The players will check in on Saturday morning March 27th at 8:45 AM at Arvada West High School. On Saturday the players will take a team picture and practice. This will conclude around 4PM.
The Banquet, held to honor the players, will be at 6PM at the Host Hotel the Double Tree in Westminster, 8773 Yates Drive, (303) 427-4000. Mention CCGS for a special rate.
The Games begin the following day at 9AM with 1A followed by 2A at 10:30, 3A at 12:00, 4A at 1:30PM and 5A is at 3PM. Again the games will be held at Arvada West High School.
Basketball All-State Ballot - is to be used by the coaches at their All-Conference meetings.
Basketball Participant Form - is to be used by the athlete once she is selected to play.
